Triple Tiller

HE-VA’s Triple Tiller is a high speed stubble cultivator designed to work down to 300mm (12”) deep depending on conditions and the point used.

Standard "Durox" chisel points are used for deep cultivation, soil loosening, levelling and residue incorporation The standard "Durox" chisel wearing points have a unique concave design, ensuring complete ”mixing” of soil and plant residues.

The reversible and height adjustable wearing point enables the Triple Tiller points to cultivate many hectares before they needs replacing. Alternatively, optional wide duck foot shares can be fitted for shallow cultivation such as in a min-till or stale seedbed situation where moving all the ground is a requirement.

All Triple-Tiller models have 3 rows of tines, at 25cm spacings and a robust box section frame with an under frame clearance of 85cm.

Available as trailed and three-point mounted with working widths from 3m to 5m, the Triple Tiller is suitable for tractors from 100hp. Depth control on all models is controlled hydraulically from the tractor cab via the roller.

Like many of the machines in the HE-VA range the Triple Tiller Stubble Cultivator uses the pressed steel V profile ring. However, all the rings are mounted on a 300mm tube so that each section of the roller turns as one ensuring the machine can continue to work in very wet sticky conditions.

Each ring section is castellated ensuring the roller turns in light soils and the aggressive rib and shoulder profile combines with the 125mm spacing to leave an excellent consolidated weatherproof finish.

Following the cultivator tines, levelling discs level the soil in front of the V-Profile roller to ensure the roller leaves a consolidated finish whatever the conditions and soil type. These are adjusted for height via a levelling bar that is mounted on the roller making the levelling tool independent of the cultivation tine working depth to ensure a level consolidated finish at all times.

The Triple-Tiller is equipped with ø410mm serrated eradicator discs complete with automatic release system. These eradicator discs are easily adjusted by means of central spindles ensuring a level finish.

Point Options

Machines come as standard with 75mm x 12mm reversible and height adjustable “Durox” hard wearing point.

DUROX Point

The standard "Durox" wearing point for all Triple Tiller Stubble  Cultivators have a unique concave design, ensuring complete ”mixing” of soil and plant residues. The 75 x 12 mm reversible and height adjustable wearing point enables the Triple Tiller points to cultivate many hectares before they needs replacing.

Chisel & Duckfoot Point

Two other point options are available using a 'Quick change' adapter, one option is a 75mm wide chisel point and the other is the 260mm wide duckfoot share, these can be fitted for shallow cultivation enabling full soil movement in a min-till or stale seedbed situation.

Stone Protection Options

Stone Protection - Shearbolt

The shearbolt stone protection ensures an effective 0 – 300mm cultivation of even the heaviest soil types.

Stone Protection - Double Spring Reset

The unique double-spring tine, preloaded for 455 kg, ensures an effective 0 – 300mm cultivation of even the heaviest soil types.

On the 3m and 3.5m Triple Tiller Stubble Cultivator the working depth is controlled by the roller. The working depth can be adjusted by using spacing clips on the depth rods. Simply lift up the machine and insert the spacing clips to adjust the machine to the desired depth.

On 4m & 5m models the working depth is adjusted hydraulically from the tractor cab, these models work a similar system as the 3m & 3.5m using fixed stops and distance clips. Different sizes of clips are included, allowing the user to reach just the right depth.

The 3m Triple Tiller Stubble Cultivator comes as a three point linkage mounted machine.

The Trailed Triple Tillers come as a 3m, 4m and 5m machines with the 4m and 5m being hydraulic folding.
